Location: Sölden, Austria

For the Adidas Lounge in Sölden, we were invited to contribute material to a space designed around transformation and circularity. The lounge, commissioned by Adidas and designed by DEAR UDO DESIGNSTUDIO, explores the theme “from plastic to product”, a narrative that closely aligns with our own material practice.

For this project, we produced approximately 80 square meters of sheet material from our Blizzard collection. Made from recycled plastic, the Blizzard sheets are characterised by their light, speckled texture, where fragments of plastic remain visible within the surface. Much like in our other work the material does not hide its origin, instead the composition and colour variations quietly reveal the recycled source material.

Within the Adidas Lounge, the sheets become part of a broader spatial story about transformation, how discarded plastic can be reprocessed into a durable, architectural material and ultimately into finished products. For us, the collaboration was a natural fit: a project set in an alpine environment that highlights the journey from waste to material, and from material to
design.
